In our first wood bat game with Lakewood Park Christian Panthers, the Archers pulled away late to win 7-3. Senior Cameron Culver singled in the 1st inning to get the scoring started and then singled again in 3rd inning with another RBI. Senior David Sandoval earned the win on the mound, giving up only 4 hits & 2 unearned runs over 4 innings, and striking out 4 with 0 walks. David's brother Jeremiah appeared in relief for the Archers. Cam and David led the team with 2 hits each. Braxton Davis and Dom Petersen each stole multiple bases, with the team totaling 9 steals. Defensively the Archers are still cleaning up mistakes as they had 7 errors in the game.
